Welcome to St. George’s International School Library!
Christmas Comes to the Library!
A Christmas tree decorated with book covers is just the thing to bring holiday cheer to the library!
Wire Insect Sculptures
Have a look at Mrs. Jupp’s Year 8 sculptures now displayed on the senior fiction bookshelves. Students created insects from various types of wire. Well done!
Student Art in Library
The library acknowledges and celebrates student accomplishments by displaying student work. Miss Thomas’ art class made these beautiful flowers, which are now cheering up the junior non-fiction collection!
Harry Potter Translations
St. George’s School is attempting to set a World Record: the most Harry Potter translations of any other school library! Please support our efforts by donating a Harry Potter book translated into your language! A complete list is HERE.
What was “Fermat’s Last Theorem?” How many guests could fit into “Hilbert’s Hotel?” Students are having fun while learning valuable research skills!
St. George’s students rock Open Mic
The first “Open Mic at the Library” was a friendly and relaxed gathering of performers and spectators. The choir and several soloists sang an extraordinary variety of music. Clearly, this needs to be a regular event! We all look forward to hearing some new voices next time 🙂
