Welcome to St. George’s International School Library!
Boring is Fun!
The “Boring Book-a-thon” was a massive success! Our students read the most boring books in the library for 30 grueling minutes! Funds raised will be used to purchase books on the student wish list. Well done! A very warm thanks to students, families, and teachers who supported this event in the LIBRARY…where BORING is FUN!
The “Boring Book-a-thon” will take place on 28 & 29 September from 10:30-11am. Get sponsored to read a boring book– use funds to buy exciting books!
Harry Potter World Record Attempt
JK. Rowling’s Harry Potter books have been translated into 74 languages. We will try assembling a collection of Harry Potter books in as many languages as possible.
Bring a book in your own language, just make sure it’s before November 🙂

The World Languages Library is now located upstairs. Check out our growing collections of French, Russian, Japanese, German, Spanish, and Chinese books! Do you have any world language books to donate to the library? (Please see Mrs. Romö.)

The “Reading Nook”
Check out the new “Reading Nook!” This is a cozy new space for readers to curl up on some beanbags with a good book. (Located under the spiral staircase.) A big “Thank you!” to the PLG for funding the fringe curtain and the lighting.
