Scholastic Book Fair

St. George’s Autumn 2018 Scholastic Book Fair is up and running! Go to http://eu-schools.scholastic.co.uk/st-georges-1815. Browse, order, and pay for books online by 30 October 2018. Orders will be delivered to school. (Prices are in British Pounds Sterling £.)

For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards.

Kindles for E-reading!

St. George’s school library has acquired 20 Kindle Fire tablets for use with the Epic children’s digital library app! The app is suitable for students up to age 12, and includes thousands of fiction and nonfiction e-books, audio e-books, read-to-me e-books, and educational videos. French, Chinese, and Spanish language materials are also available.

September 2018

Open Mic at the Library

September 25th, 2018|

St. George’s library held its first Open Mic event of the school year after lunch on 24 September. Classical, contemporary, and jazz music were performed, as well as a dramatic monologue. The next Open Mic will take place on 5 November. Sign up in the library!
